Beth Awarded National Specialist Teacher of the Year!

We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate the remarkable achievement of our very own Miss Beth, who has been announced as the 2025 National Winner of the AUSTSWIM Specialist Teacher of the Year! This award is one of the highest honours in our industry, and it shines a spotlight on the passion, commitment, and expertise that Beth brings to her work every single day.

From the moment she joined us, Beth has demonstrated an unmatched dedication to supporting students with additional needs. Her patience, creativity, and deep understanding of each child’s unique strengths make her an exceptional educator. She approaches every lesson with heart, thoughtfulness, and a genuine desire to help her students thrive—not just in the water, but in confidence, independence, and joy. We have always known Beth was something truly special, and it is incredibly rewarding to see a national judging panel recognise exactly what we see in her every day.

To make this celebration even more meaningful, we were honoured to welcome Robyn and Charlene from AUSTSWIM to our Glenwood centre. Their visit to personally present Beth with her award added a wonderful sense of occasion to this milestone moment. We are grateful they were able to join us, acknowledge Beth’s achievements firsthand, and share in the excitement felt throughout our entire team and community.

Beth has devoted her career to helping students with additional needs, and her compassion and professionalism set a standard that inspires all of us. Whether she is guiding a nervous beginner or encouraging a confident swimmer to take the next step, Beth brings warmth, encouragement, and expertise to every interaction. The impact she has on her students and the pride she brings to our centre is immeasurable.

This award is a testament not only to Beth’s skill but to the love and dedication she pours into her work. We could not be happier or prouder to see her recognised on the national stage.
